Oh No!

You just never know what's going to happen when you're on vacation. Look at me - I ended up in the slammer!


There's a story behind this, of course, but you'll have to wait until I have more time. Can you guess where I am in this picture?

We're spending the week in San Francisco. Nobody told me it was COLD in California in July! It was 90 degrees at home when we left and is about 56 here. Ha!

    Alcatraz! Did you get the solitary confinement cell, and get shut into the complete darkness? Pretty spooky. Hope the weather warms up for you, but enjoy your week anyway.

    I hope you're having fun and not freezing too much! I've lived in Northern CA for thirty years and have never been to Alcatraz. Can't wait to hear more ...

    So did you get to see the "BirdMan's" cell? We drove thru SF last summer. I wanted to stay and just walk thru town but we had a schedule to keep. The architecture was really fun to see!

    Living in San Francisco, I NEVER go out of the house without a sweater or jacket. You never know when the fog will roll in. Sorry they have you locked up in Alcatraz. You do know how to escape don't you?! Hope you are a good swimmer! Hugs, Cory Dogwood

    My sisters flew to California today. I was surprise when they told me how much the temperature changes from area to area. They went prepared.
