Peachy!

Yesterday was a peach salsa-making kind of day!

The last time I made this was two years ago...we'd run out of it a while back and every time we passed a fruit stand Mr. P would ask me, "Are you going to make peach salsa this year?" So I did.

Fifteen jars!

Yum! I already tried it out last night. Gotta do quality control. If you want to make your own batch, you can find the recipe here.

You know what else is peachy? Missy Higgins. I love her music!

In other, quilt-related news... I finished the Patisserie quilt top. This is actually the Coming Home pattern from Camille Roskelley's book Simplify.

If you saw my first version of the top (in the previous post), you'll see that I changed a few blocks around. I wanted more of the Xs but I had made it look like Os. I like this one much better.
.
I also made the Halloween Cat wall-hanging from the kit I bought on the weekend.

Isn't it cute!

Now I have two projects ready to be quilted...and just one day left before I have to go back to work. Boo hoo.

Your quilts are very nice. As for the peach salsa, can you believe I never had that? Is it very spicy?

I'll have to try that peach salsa. Yum! I have tried it with mango and it turned out really good, I bet the peach is great too! Love the quilts. :)

Okay, I'll go out on a limb and look stupid... I have never heard of peach salsa, what do you generally serve it with? The only salsa I know is tomato and served with Mexican food like tacos!

Oh oh my gosh...you have been busy.
Wow, the grass does not grow under your feet. I love all that you do!
Thanks for showing us!
Have a fun day.

Peach salsa sounds intriguing. What do you use it with?

Rachel, Thanks for stopping by! When at the thrift store, or yard sale, dont just concentrate on orange sweaters for the pumpkins, look for olive greens, golds, creams, tans, browns, the variety makes them special!! Let me see them when you make some!! Sue

Yum! I made some peach salsa last year but my hubby doesn't like fruit. So I have to eat it all by myself. Which is good if I'm feeling greedy, I guess. :P I kinda wish he would eat more fruit so that I could make more salsa!

I like that Missy is sitting on a quilt during this song!
